Hey Reader,

Happy slightly belated birthday to the National Park Service. NPS turned 108 yesterday. Hopefully, they will still be around for another 108 years.

Another reason I love NPS's birthday is because it's the start of the Northern Light season in Alaska. There is something magical about seeing the lights dance across the sky. It's even more special when it's in a National Park.

IMPORTANT FOR FLORIDA RESIDENTS or anyone else who cares about keeping the Florida State Parks as mostly natural areas.

Your idiotic state officials have decided that several Florida State Parks need 300+ plus room hotel rooms along with pickleball courts, golf courses, and disc golf courses.

You can submit your public comments. They will also be having in-person meetings on the week of September 2. The dates and times are TBD. If you can attend, please make your voice heard.
