Hey Reader,
I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the heat and my allergies. I am now remembering why I usually go to Alaska in July. I have some family things keeping me close to Tennessee this summer so I'm just suffering through my allergies and the heat.
It also doesn't help that my favorite Brooks bear has arrived with the MOST adorable cubs, and I hate everyone who is sharing amazing photos of Grazer and her Grazzlets. Head over to explore.org and check out the bear cams. Grazer is the blond bear with fluffy ears and two deep brown small cubs with a size slight size difference. You can usually find her fishing at the Ripples or on the lip of the falls.
Also, if you are a Tennessee Resident and own your home, consider signing up for the TDOT Pollinator Habitat Program and get some free Milkweed Seeds to help restore Monarch butterfly habit. Other states may have a similar program; if they don't, you should suggest it to your elected officials.
Happy Adventures,
P.S. Here are a few links you might find helpful in your trip planning.
